The club erupted in one big involuntary cheer when Mary Lou Dinicola returned to the ice in Pittsfield this Sunday.
We thought Mary Lou would just want to test out her legs. So it was a wonderful surprise when she ramped up the speed to 90% when it was her turn to take the front. It seemed like she’d been envisioning those laps for three and a half months. WELCOME BACK!
We were also ‘Graced’ with the presence of Sadie Grace from Illinois, who’s spring semester internship with the Williams College lacrosse team brings her to western Massachsetts. It is always great to have an expert in the house.
Happy Valentine’s Day PPSSC members. Here’s a valentine I sent to your president, with the help Pam Basinski (Ed’s wife) and the singing quartet “Breakaway”
See a fabulous photo of Ed (among others) exhibiting his textbook form at Christie Sausa’s Lake Placid Skater site.
